Overview

New Edge Concrete built the slab foundation for this detached backyard ADU in Moraga, poured in early 2026. The pad sits at the back of a mature suburban lot — pools and gardens on every neighboring parcel — so the work area was fenced off behind erosion control and the yard became the staging ground for form lumber and equipment. We excavated and graded the footprint, formed the perimeter, and roughed in the underslab plumbing ahead of the pour. The slab was finished smooth with tooled joints, anchor bolts set around the perimeter, and the plumbing stubbed up through the surface — a level, framing-ready platform curing in its forms.
