Piedmont Custom Concrete Bench

New Edge Concrete built a custom, half-round concrete bench for a luxury home in Piedmont — an architectural feature designed with a high-end landscape designer to complement the surrounding landscape. Cast with an integral concrete color and a sand / exposed-sand finish, its curves demanded precise layout, custom formwork, and extensive bracing to hold everything true through the pour. After stripping the forms, we hand-finished the concrete for a smooth, consistent surface while preserving the sand texture — a highly detailed, one-of-a-kind piece.
